PRP (platelet rich Plasma) therapy is subcutaneous injection of plasma contains blood cells called as platelets or thrombocytes. Platelets are loaded with reparative substances and they play a key role in tissue repair. For example, in case of an injury, platelets are collected at the wound site and they leave curative factors such as growth factor. Thus, stem cells gravitate towards this area.
