Neck Lift

Under chin, loosening or adiposity occurs because of some reasons such as advancing age, excess weight changes and genetic factors. These kinds of things cause sagging of skin and disfigurement of face. Excess fat in the neck increases aged appearance.

Neck lift surgery is a good solution for our patients who are troubled with this situation. Generally, neck lift surgery is performed as a continuation of face lift surgery; sometimes only neck lift operation may be needed. For patient who does not need face lift surgery but has adiposity in the neck region, neck lift surgery is performed.

Surgery is performed under general anesthesia or sedation anesthesia. Depending on the choice of classic or endoscopic methods duration of operation is ranged from 3 to 4.5 hours. One night stay in the hospital may be required. Period for healing of bruising and swelling is 7-20 days, it varies according to the method is used (classic or endoscopic) and liposuction (performed or not). The patient can back to work after one week.
